Back to Basics!

Haven't blogged in ages, and I was reading an article earlier that suggested I keep a daily blog as a new year's resolution, so here we go again!

Went to work again today, been working far too much lately, it's ridiculous >_>. I worked like the 3 days before Christmas Day, then the 3 after, then, work changes the fucking rota and apparently I missed yesterday's (uninformed) shift. Well fuck that, I'm having tommorrow off and that's fo' shizz. Working fucking New Year's Day too, how fucking bollocks is that, ahh well, I'll be lucky if I sell a fucking thing. (I'm working at Currys at the moment by the way if you didn't allready know, Sales Assistant).

Work aside, it finally seems that my money worries are coming to an end! Well, for the time being at least. Getting on top of debts etc. managed to actually buy the majority of my family Christmas presents this year. Found out tonight that I substantiated £250.90 from nowhere, which pleases me greatly. To cut a long story short, I made a guy that attempted to scam my World of Warcraft account from me drop his pants and lose 300 Euros due to his negligence! To top it, I still have my account :).

Still can't wait for payday, should be coming around the 15th of January or so. Expecting around the £600 mark when I get my tax back also from my last job.

I also need some advice, some of my money is going on paying off debts, and some is going into my ISA to save up for my holiday with Sarah next May/June, and the rest I don't want to spend on getting wasted, therefore I think either a new PC or a new TV is the best call.

I thought I'd make a little note about the band I'm bumming at the moment as well, maybe for future reference to go "WTF!?" or whatever, Hadouken! ftw.

Other than that I'm full of cold, fairly tired, and I'm getting up early to nail one of the things on my new snazzy ToDo list that I have on google desktop, aswell as take Sarah to Topshop. Gotta go to the Bank to fucking have a load off at the Bank Manager for skanking my monies and making me overdrawn basically.

Nintendo Wii

Decided I want one pretty badly now... what with the pc games these days slowly beginning to out-do my specifications and the fact that I love Nintendo and the titles are amazing that are coming up for Wii. Since my recent Zelda fettish, it's definitely re-induced my console love. Gonna have to get a DS too... Had every pokemon game on handheld that there is to date, and I feel a hole in my soul for not having diamond or pearl! Let the saving commence :)

Finally conquered Zelda: Ocarina of Time!

Yeah, 9 years down the line since release, I've finally beat it! Such a beautiful game! I love, and have loved the game all these years, the only thing holding me back from completing it was the fact it used to scare me shitless back when I got it! Christ's sake I was only 8-10 when I played it, and I could never quite figure out Dodongo's cavern on my own. Anyways, after slogging through the tedious water temple, I thoroughly enjoyed the gameplay. The boss fights were exciting and the storyline really gripped me. Having never completed a Zelda game to this date (well until now) it really wants me to finish my others and get the Twilight Princess. I've almost finished Majora's Mask and I'm even nearer to completing Wind Waker, I just got fed up of how they really tried to drag an extra hour or two of repetative gameplay towards the end out of it.

Zelda aside, good day at college today, still feel a bit crappy though; wish this cough would do one.
